You sick of me posting bike portraits of my friends? Me either, here is the most recent round as I got some film back and a couple of different angles of some old.

We have a special project in the works so stay tuned.

Going to let the photos speak for themselves on this one.

Continuum Cycles

Over the years Jeff from Continuum Cycles and I have became good friends. Last month I stopped by the shop and asked to shoot part of his collection. I tried to find contrasting backgrounds to work with the bikes characters both new and old. While a couple of friends have stopped by and shot the shop, my goal was to give a intimate perspective into what makes Jeff's shop very special.

On a Sunday, Armando and I swung by to check out Jeff's new workshop that was closed but he opened up for us to hang out. He recently just moved hist store front next door and is now using his old store front as a workshop. Got it? Good.
After checking things out we met up at my house down the street, here is Jeff and my dog Stalone hanging next to Armando's first custom track frame built at: http://www.yamaguchibike.com/content/Index
Like me Jeff collects both new and old.
Track frames in all sizes, years and makers.
Here we have a custom cycle cross frame that has been in the works for a while, like all of his steel frames they are handmade in Italy .
The shops traditional track frame and Jeff's personal build handmade in Italy.
This is where it all started, well as far as the frame goes. This was the shops first frame and Jeff's personal city build.
A classic Frejus that Jeff bought from the original owner.
Colnago with a 50th anniversary Campagnolo build.
A Moltini Eddy Merckx with a very rad build.
One of the more rare frames I have seen in the shop. Nobody knows where it came from, all we all have seen is the blue frame that has been posted on different blogs but a white one in this size? That's part of what Continuum is about. Go check out the shop and see Jeff and Fritz for more!

Night Time

Most of my work is at night and I generally prefer after hours  photography. Out of focus, blurred, lo light.
Here are some images I have shot as of late.

Been busy!

It's been a while since I have posted, I started a new job that requires long hours and also I went on vacation to Austin Texas for the N.A.H.B.B.S http://www.2011.handmadebicycleshow.com/. I've been shooting during this entire time but am now burning the midnight oil to post. I have a lot of awesome things in the works so stay tuned. During these busy times I always love to take photos of my friends and their bikes. While everyone is just as busy, photos like these remind me of why we all work so hard!
As always click on photo to enjoy full size.

Ken from Chari & co. One of the hardest working guy's in the game.

This is Ricky, he also is grinding over at Chari & co. He recently sold me a 650c HED 3 for My Daccordi. Stay tuned for follow up photos.

Another of Ken, this guy has bikes! He also loves rock climbing.

This is my friend Sarah, we met up in Austin to have some beers and catch up. She is a collector of vintage cycling goods and a really positive girl to be around. Sarah and her husband Ian run a shop called Pushbike. http://www.pushbikesf.com/ If your in SF check out her shop!
Here we have my dude Andrew from Austin Texas. From the day I landed, Andrew looked out for Mary and I, showing us a damn good time! Mary and his girlfriend Jesse went vintage shopping while we caught up and had a couple. Thanks  again guys! Looking forward to seeing you both at the NACCC
On our last day in town Andrew took us for a group ride, during the last stretch of it we stopped for a beer. It was the golden hour and I wanted to grab a couple portraits. This is Milica and her Icarus bike from Boston it is so beautiful! Milica describes her paint job as "a sunset through a dirty window"
Milica is also a photographer, check out her site and blog here:www.mfwren.com
Check out Icarus here : http://www.icarusframes.com

This is a really amazing person to me! We started working together the same year at A.B.C. Legal. While I went on to messenger and travel to different city's she took the opportunity to open her own workshop hat is still in business 7 years later! Check her out here:http://mobiuscycle.com/
Ncki, it was really great to see you!

Here we have Jeff from All City, I first met Jeff during the Bicycle Film Festival last year when he crashed on my floor, the next couple of days were a blast! A solid stand up guy, that really believes in his product and it shows. Check out his work and ideas here:http://www.allcitycycles.com/
Keep it up man!

This has been a ongoing project around my neighborhood and I'm all for it.

Here we have my man "Popcorn" showing some flavor during work over at Mama's http://www.mamasfoodshop.com/ If you in the area check out the food here! I worked here the first 2 years I lived in NYC and still go back for the food!
